Capone loves AMSTERDAM, NY !! The city of Amsterdam is absolutely crusted with little hidden jewels for all visitors to check out. Historicaly Amsterdam is rich with revolutionary events and happenings. Capone has a soft spot for Amsterdam and WELCOMES everyone to explore the possibilities of a nice day ride to shopping, eating, and site seeing.
Mother Nature Spared no expense when it comes to local natural excitement.
After an Autumn scamper through the rolling folliage in wonderful Montgomery and Fulton Counties catch a glimpse of the mighty MOHAWK RIVER and the Erie lock system. The Erie lock system was the first American super highway and to this day is a major waterway to the west. Along the Mohawk River there is a rich history to explore. William Johnson's Home still stands along NY RT 5 (along with the countries oldest standing out-house). While in Amsterdam check out The Note Worthy American Indian Museum step back into the early years of this great land. SO SO SO much to see, so make the trip. Adirondack mountains, river views, Howes caverns, all right in our backyard.

So after you come to Amsterdam and visit Capone take a drive around town and see where the best stuff can be found. Remember you gotta tell Capone what you are looking for.....That's how SOLD happens!!!
While driving along Division Street in Historic Downtown Don't forget to visit Sweet Ice Antiques. Sweet Ice Antiques brings a rich history and todays stlye to the newly rising Amsterdam Antique cluster, a great stop on a delightful afternoon of antiquing. Also see the fun lovin crowd at Not Just Antiques. For a rip roaring retro through back visit Aunt Katie's Attic. Visit my auction for a good time and all other local auctioneers, Capone is centrally located in a hub of shopping, he will have the stylish and the thrifty sayin hubba hubba!! There are 4 antique shops, 4 Auction Houses, 3 thrift shops, and an antique & flower shop all with in 5 minutes away. Tell them all Capone Sent ya.....thats the secret passcode to the good life.

SO much to EAT. Where to begin.....
BREAKFAST will do. Don't be surprised if Capone is parked at a booth in Emmy Lou's for great smiles Breakfast or Lunch .....YUM! Go Where I've Bean is a great lil coffee house on RT67, and they won't break the bank. The Windmill Diner is great for breakfast and just about any other meal TOO. Depending on how much the belly is growling try the ALL -YOU -CAN-Eat Buffet at Pasquallies in the Hotel Down Town.
Lunch and Dinner Crystals is a nice lively place for a night on the town. OR......you can step back in time and rev up you eating engine for some of the finest food in the area you gotta stop in and meet the folks at C.P.'s Family Resturant nestled away in the quit lil hamlet of Hagaman in the township of Amsterdam. C.P.'s has great home cooked meals ready to suit any appetite. They have a wonderful old time auto theme throughout the place and it is a real local charmer. Ruckus Cafe is another great addition to the city for some of the best Italian and assorted menu items. NOT TOO MENTION DESSERT PLEASE. Capone has found so many nice places to eat in the city and surrounding areas so just ask his belly won't lie.
Turn on the Night LIFE
Amsterdam has something for the whole family. Check out a movie, or hit the lanes for some bowling. Throw on the skates or hop in a go cart and hit some long balls at the batting cages. Not to mention the numerous watering holes like, Crystals, Rain Dancer, South side shorty's, Boscoe's , JDR's and more to come.
